Lion’s Brain® are premium British potato crisps made with British potatoes and seasoned with a blend including Lion’s Mane mushroom extract and zinc. They’re designed to combine great taste with thoughtfully selected ingredients.

Lion’s Mane (Hericium erinaceus) is an edible mushroom named after its distinctive, shaggy appearance, which resembles a lion’s mane. An extract is made by processing the mushroom to draw out some of its naturally occurring compounds. At Lion’s Brain®, we use extract from the mushroom’s fruiting body, the part you would recognise as the mushroom, and blend it into the seasoning across all three flavours. Our crisps also contain added zinc, which contributes to normal cognitive function. It’s all part of our approach: Taste then function.

Yes. All Lion’s Brain crisps are gluten free. Our crisps are vegan except for the Raclette, Lion’s Mane & Shallot flavour, which contains milk.

No. The Lion’s Mane extract is carefully balanced with the other ingredients, so you get the flavour of the crisps rather than an overpowering mushroom taste.
